<GRAPHIC FOR SONG>
“Move It”, the title cut was another song where HAAP wanted to create a song that represented what we were about – dancing, having a good time, and because at the time it was written, there just wasn’t enough fun dance tunes coming out. Rough lyrics were passed back and forth between Shannon and John….
Musically – The main musical “hook,” the unison bass and guitar line prior to each verse, is a very old riff from CC (late 1970’s) that was part of a much longer progressive rock song. CC used that as a starting point and crafted the arrangement (intro, verses, chorus, solo section) heard in the final version and handed that off to John and Shannon in 2019.
We wanted a throw back to the “good old days”.

Lyrics:
I’ll tell ya baby
Try to understand
When I feel the rhythm
It drives me mad
Don’t want to make you think
That I don’t care
I can’t resist myself
When music’s in the air
Cause when the night is here
I start to come alive
When everything is wrong
The groove just feels so right
The world just opens up
With possibility
Come on baby
Put a little chance with me
Maybe we’ll fall in love again
If we dance just take my hand
Come on and loose control
Feel it in your soul
What are you waiting for
Move it, Move it
Turn up and have some fun
Until the morning comes
What are you waiting for
Move it, Move it
Now you know
How I feel
Don’t try to tell me
That it’s not real
Does it drive you wild
Like it does me
Loose your self in this
Loving mystery
Cause when the night is here
I start to come alive
When everything is wrong
The groove just feels so right
The world just opens up
With possibility
Come on baby
Put a little chance with me
Maybe we’ll fall in love again
If we dance just take my hand
Come on and loose control
Feel it in your soul
What are you waiting for
Move it, Move it
Turn up and have some fun
Until the morning comes
What are you waiting for
Move it, Move it
Come on and loose control
Feel it in your soul
What are you waiting for
Move it, Move it
Turn up and have some fun
Until the morning comes
What are you waiting for
Move it, Move it
(Solo break)
Come on and loose control
Feel it in your soul
What are you waiting for
Move it, Move it
Turn up and have some fun
Until the morning comes
What are you waiting for
Move it, Move it
Come on and loose control
Feel it in your soul
What are you waiting for
Move it, Move it
Turn up and have some fun
Until the morning comes
What are you waiting for
Move it, Move it
